Princess of the Sword
A lovely, rollicking fairy tale, with lovable, colorful characters and a good story line. Hard to put down! Fantasy and romance, dragons and shield maidens, elves, dastardly villains and dashing princes, all interwoven with magic of all kinds. What more could one want?
Princess of the sword
The story development pulls me forward but I especially appreciate the emotional journey of the main characters. Ms Kurland does a very nice balancing act of creating a fantastical magic medieval physical world and weaving totally realistic emotional tug of wars between ideals and what really happens to any of us. I look forward to a continuation of this trilogy or a spin off series in the tradition of J R R Tolkien or Frank Herbert.
As Beautiful As Tolkien And Lewis
Lynn Kurland has given the world a beautifully written and extremely sweet tale of love, triumph, and life with character displays of characteristics and relationships that we could all do to emulate. I feel as I did when finishing The Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings, a little sad to leave their world behind but so much richer for the journey. Thank you Lynn Kurland for a treasure I will share with my children and grandchildren!
