I read the 1958 edition as a kid, it was one of my favorite books. Well written, and thrilling. I'm glad we had Mr.Edison before this current age of stifling government regulations and endless laws and taxes.Highly recommended for kids and adults.

Sterling North (1906-1974) was awarded a Newbery Honor for the autobiographical Rascal.
