About this audiobook

Seven hundred years ago, a Black Widow witch saw an ancient prophecy come to life in her web of dreams and visions. Now the Dark Kingdom readies itself for the arrival of its Queen, a Witch who will wield more power than even the High Lord of Hell himself. But she is still young, still open to influence-and corruption. Whoever controls the Queen controls the darkness. Three men-sworn enemies-know this. And they know the power that hides behind the blue eyes of an innocent young girl. And so begins a ruthless game of politics and intrigue, magic and betrayal, where the weapons are hate and love-and the prize could be terrible beyond imagining...

This book...is odd. It has a few classic Tropes that you'd normally love [age gape, Student/teacher, father/son romance options, Forbidden love] however this book..brings a harsh perspective on those points because the main female interest is a child.[12] an constantly reminds you of it. I'm not quite sure if the author intended to write the story this way to make the reader feel disgusted by it or not. However it really dose make it harder to like any of the males in the story. It's hard enough liking them when all the characters seem to have the same personalities an one note to them. Then to make them all basically petiphiles.not to mention the hard core grooming in here.Whith the main characters being the literal devil an his children I guess you could expect some depravity like this , but it really kind of just makes you feel odd to read, an makes you care even less about the characters. In the end even if you do Finnish it I doubt alot of folks are supper eager to read the next
