I thought it to be an alright read of self discovery while growing up as a
young adult/mother. After watching the movie again, I decided to read the
book expecting it to be a much better storyline than the movie. I
discovered that I enjoyed the movie more than the book. The story differs
from each other, but I feel character depth more in the movie than the book.

I can not speak of how much I laughed, smiled, and cried. This memoir is truly classic and can really play with your emotions. I thought I would like the movie more, but in all reality the book was 100% better. Just the way she used her words were brilliant. This will forever be my favorite. Right above the Glass Castle.

I just liked how real the storytelling was, even if some parts weren't so pretty or what people would probably want to hear. There were a bunch of differences from the movie, which isn't uncommon of course, but was still surprising to me.
