A truly unique dystopia, the likes of which could only come from the mind that gave us Thursday Next. Fforde paints an absurd world that takes itself very seriously, and in no way serves as a reflection of our own. Very nearly dauntingly imaginative, expertly crafted, and a lot of fun.
