I love these three generation heroines. The signore, Pillar & Sophia Giambelli. They are not perfect but know well what they want in life and tough enough to achieved. This story stands out for its family bond and tradition, alongside with the good brave men matched for each.

The plot is gripping. The characters are bigger than life, but the author weaves their lives together with her skillful craft and enables the reader to walk alongside them.The exquisite images she creates are delicious. I loved the novel.

Loved the suspense and the drama. Thought I had it figured out but Ms. Roberts threw in a twist.
