This started out to be a romantic book about friends running a wedding venue. The descriptions of the flowers and grounds of the house were just delectable, which is why I gave it the 2 stars. But then the characters blurred together. I assume each character is more defined in their separate books. But the language! Awful! These women really use the four-letters words, the "F" one being popular. The women I know don't speak that way, though I suppose Nora Roberts supposes most women are that crude. It's a shame, because it's a lovely premise ruined by vulgarity and fuzzy characters. (You can tell them apart by their occupations and the fact that one is livng with her fiancé.)

Out of the 4 books of the bridal quartet, this is my favorite! I love how the problem was portrayed and how they were able to overcome it. It has a great ending!

I myself got dewy eyed at the end. It was really romantic and free of crime unlike her other books.
