This book was absolutely amazing. We read this as a read-aloud in school. Though we had to stop about forty times throughout the book. It was an amazing mystery. My favorite actually. I was so glad that Turtle won. She deserved it. I was sad that Sandy died until the end when Turtle went back to Mr.Eastman. Mysteries like these are so great because they all make sense. Don't you love that feeling that you get when you finish a mystery novel & it all just make sense. It's like putting the pieces of a puzzle back together. I reccomend this to all readers! Two thumbs up!

And i would like to say i have never read a better book in my life. Therefore in complete aspect Ellen Raskin was the best writer in America. And i leave you with this question?
