Charms for the Easy Life

I enjoyed this book. Ms. Gibbons developed the characters so well that I will miss them now that I have finished the book. The three generations of women is a nice approach. I enjoyed the dynamics of the relationships between these three strong, intelligent women. I always enjoy traveling back in time to a different era, and Gibbons painted a picture of the trials of the people left at home while others were "over there" fighting the war. She also gave us a glimpse of some of the terrible things that those soldiers had to live with and overcome now that they were back home. My book club meets this week and I can hardly wait to hear the opinions of my friends.
