I bought this book due to it having won a 2011 Edgar Award. I'll have to say it wasn't exactly what I had expected, since this was the first Harlan Coben book I had read. There are quite a few twists and turns, maybe even a few too many, but it's a definite page turner over all. The one thing I did not like about the main character of the book, a reporter, constantly told people she was keeping things in confidence and then, was almost tripping over herself to tell someone....

I got this book as a gift and didn't start reading for 2 months. when I began, I stopped the reading after about 20~30 first pages, because I used to read the novels were written by Agatha Christie and this book didn't seem to be like those books. but after some time, I pushed myself to read the remaining and I shocked! I managed to finish the book in 4 days, regarding that my free hours are limited. the book was excellent Mystery/Crime novel and that made me to get all of the Harlan Coben's book. I recommend this book to everyone who like Crime/Mystery/Thriller novels; you will not regret.
