A fantastic book! If you want to read about the early history of golf, this is the book for you. It's amazing that a sport, one of the most popular in the world, was shaped on nearly every fundamental aspect by a single man, a man who's son was the sports first Megastar. Also, this is the story of a tragic romance, a very sad story indeed. One of the best sports-related books I've ever read.
