Wonderful!
As always, Margaret George has recreated a world painted with vivid characters and stories. She makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time and have become part of that world. Reading the perspective of Lettice was an interesting twist to both the main story of Elizabeth and the background Bolelyn history.
I was sorry to see the end of this book and shall eagerly anticipate the next!
I love it!
The author of this book has been famous for big fat books with a bunch of pages some people hate that but I just love it! She makes it lengthy for those people who don't want to finish a story in two days. I have read her book The Autobiography of Henry VIII three times! I never get bored of that book and so now I think I will keep on reading this book!
Elizabeth I
Like all of Margaret George's lengthy works, I wished only that it might be a never ending story. She is a magnificent writer whose muse appears to be history itself. Truly she is the queen herself of her genre.
