One might think that Google would be smart enough to add to the book description the order of which each book is in the series. For a reader who never read Jack Campbell books, how would I know where to start and where to follow? Should I buy the entire collection to find which one is book one to return them all if I find it not to my liking? Smart up Google Play.

This was not my favorite book in the series. It introduced some new plot elements but fell short of establishing interest in them for me. I'll read the next book, more out of interest in the main two characters than the plot---I wish more attention was given to the other characters in the story

It was fine, a bit slow paced for my liking, and just a lot of build up with not a lot of answers

"Jack Campbell" is the pseudonym for John G. Hemry, a retired Naval officer (and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis). As Jack Campbell, he writes The Lost Fleet series of military science fiction novels. He lives with his family in Maryland.
