I love Sookie, I love how she thinks, how she reacts and how she struggles. Her reality is sometimes horrific and she still caries herself with southern charm. Eric is one of my favorite vampires but he is turning in another direction in this story.I am not sure where it will lead him. Bill, (ick) is still hanging in the shadows creeping me out.( can't somebody stake him already) Sam, sweet lovable Sam is dating Cujo, run Sam. LOL We don't see much of the no-supe people of Bon Temps in this addition. I think they are all recovering still. Anyway, Somebody is out to get my girl Sookie and they are not playing nice at all. At the same time Victor is beating down Eric and his people. Anyone Eric cares about is fair game to him, this man gets real nasty.
Things escalate all all fronts people die, and secrets are reveled that will change everything. EXCITING !

I read these books in about 2 days. I thought this one was even better than the previous one. I was fortunate to have been able to read this series one after the other since I just discovered them this year. I can't imagine waiting a year for each new release! Looking forward to Deadlocked. I am hooked!

Not the best of the stackhouse series. But you learn more about her fairy family. Which is something I was looking forward too
