About this ebook

This thrilling sequel to the much-talked-about Nightshade begins just where it ended-Calla Tor wakes up in the lair of the Searchers, her sworn enemy, and she's certain her days are numbered. But then the Searchers make her an offer-one that gives her the chance to destroy her former masters and save the pack-and the man-she left behind. Is Ren worth the price of her freedom? And will Shay stand by her side no matter what? Now in control of her own destiny, Calla must decide which battles are worth fighting and how many trials true love can endure and still survive.

Audio- Well, here we go- the searchers are not what they seemed, the Guardians are not what they seemed and the Keepers are really not what was told all these years. The truth is finally out, and it is an ugly dark one. One of the pack will become a traitor, breaking hearts. The searchers will lose someone dear, breaking more hearts. Everything is at stake, even the fragile love building between Cali and Shay. Whirlwind story telling with one twisted cliffhanger, grrr. Can't wait for the next one !

To some extent, I don't really get Calla. I mean, seriously, her confusion about her love life is shown practically every time when she is with Shay. If she still loves Ren( especially, if she wears is ring), was it worth all that trouble that she ran into with Shay? Yes, she did find out horrible facts about the Keepers and the main point about her role as a Guardian, but she could have dealt with it. But she abandoned her pack and her future mate, and risked their lives, for a guy that not only got her into even a deeper hole, but also started to act like a jerk in a way. Was that trouble really worth it?

If the book was at least 300 pages this would of been a four stare... under 200 definately not..
