I've only read one or two of Keillor's books, but this is my favorite so far. A nice handpicked set of his short works with interesting forwards. I think you'll like it if you like his Prairie Home Companion shows and you haven't seen these stories already elsewhere. I did.

Garrison Keillor is the founder and host of A Prairie Home Companion, author of nineteen books of fiction and humor, and editor of the Good Poems collections. A Minnesota native, he lives in St. Paul and New York City.
