Those Across the River (Unabridged‪)‬

I love little books like this. As a horror fan i am always scrounging around for good audiobooks to listen to, as i have about 9 hours a day to listen at work. This story is a genuinely fun read in the “low horror” genre. Is it Herman Melville? No. But it sits somewhere in between Stephen King and R.L. Stein which is a playground i enjoy.

Nothing scary about this book except for the number of times the narrator had read the phrase “She looked like Sphinx”

I don’t even know if its scary, the whole first part is devoted to uninspired sex scenes and clumsy exhibition.
