About this ebook

In this novel based on the Assassin's Creed™ video game series, Niccolò Polo, father of Marco, will finally reveal the story he has kept secret all his life—the story of Altaïr, one of the Brotherhood’s most extraordinary Assassins.

Altaïr embarks on a formidable mission—one that takes him throughout the Holy Land and shows him the true meaning of the Assassin’s Creed. To demonstrate his commitment, Altaïr must defeat nine deadly enemies, including Templar leader Robert de Sable.

Altaïr’s life story is told here for the first time: a journey that will change the course of history; his ongoing battle with the Templar conspiracy; a family life that is as tragic as it is shocking; and the ultimate betrayal of an old friend.

An Original Novel Based on the Multiplatinum Video Game from Ubisoft

After being 5 games into the AC games. I still wanted to know more about Altaïr. I couldnt put this book down it gave more detail and has more content, including extra missions Altaïr went on. The backstory is discussed more. I love the element of knowing what Altaïr is thinking all throughout, which the game lacked to some degree. A tip I'd follow the game order when reading.

I just finished Assassin's Creed the secret crusade. I've been a huge fan of the video game series and often thought of reading the books. I was very sceptical at first because I didn't think the books would do the brand justice. Well in this case the author Oliver Bowden delivered. The book read very well and dwell deeper into the the storyline and at times tieing up a few lose ends. Wich I didn't think was possible. I think if your true fan of the Assassin's Creed games these books are a must read!!!
