This is a great favorite of mine. The unique characters, story and romance are different from other non-contemporary romances. It's a book about orphans, family both blood related and not, love and romance unlike any I've read before. Mary Rose and her brothers tale is one I'll read again.

This was my first ever adult book. The only one that wasn't so cheesy. It made me laugh, made me cry. Wish it had been made into a movie.

Beautiful love story, and sincerity regarding what REALLY family is all about! (A few sexual episodes, otherwise a very clean book as well.)
