You can download this Sci Fi classic from Gutenberg in most text formats, additionally free from Amazon Kindle library.

This is my favorite SF novel of all time. It explores the question "what does it mean to be a person?" note, however, that this book is in the public domain, and with a little hunting you can find it for free.
