I've read & reread this book, MANY times . All of her books r on my do not touch shelve. Ms. Garwood has made me laugh and cry. She's my favorite writer.

I have gone through the hardback and several softback of this book. It is my favorite. I also like that the clans she mentions are real clans. I am from the Weir clan.

The Secret is book 1 in The Highland Lairds Series by Julie Garwood. What a magnificent book! I have read it over and over again and I am never disappointed. It has wonderful romance and a lot of witty humor. Judith is a hilarious heroine. I also enjoyed the camaraderie of the Highland warriors who escort her from England to Scotland. Ian Maitland is truly one hot Highlander. Hubba hubba! I am thoroughly enjoying this series. I wish Garwood would write more historical romances.
