Publisher Description
On March 2, 1998, ten-year-old Natascha Kampusch was kidnapped, and found herself locked in a house that would be her home for the next eight years. She was starved, beaten, treated as a slave, and forced to work for her deranged captor. But she never forgot who she was-and she never gave up hope of returning to the world. This is her story.

Her strength is admirable! Well written...not by a victim, but a survivor!
Her Truth
I thought this book was very heartfelt & the writer truly painted a vivid picture of what she lived through. I cannot imagine the horror she lived. It's sad how some people have treated her. No person deserves that. Worth reading.

One of the most amazing books I have ever read! The only disappointment for me was the typical way she was treated after she escaped. People tend to victimize the victim ... And in doing so, they don't have to believe that such evil exists in the world. She deserves far more than public persecution, and I hope she finds true peace in her life. What an example of strength and survival!!
