Joseph Murray- The Power of Your Subconscious Mind

I truly enjoyed reading this book, so much so that I read the first 200 or so pages without gasping for air. The examples of real life events that Joseph gives coupled with bible phrases and anecdotes make for the perfect self-help combination. I loved the way the author goes through almost every human experience imaginable and easily breaks it down into easy alternative ways to change the situation. The author gives examples of experiences from people all over the world who has come to him in need. After the author helps the subject he explains the subject’s faulty rationale in thinking and often gives a simple prayer to say to the subject to overcome the behavior or the way of thinking. The subject will take the self-directed prayer, use it, apply it and come back to Joseph with a great report of change.

Joseph has a great way of tying in directed prayers, along with visualization, and faith to overcoming any obstacle that you may face in life. Joseph even gave an account of his own personal obstacle with malignancy that he overcame, showing that he is not above reproach of the mind. As the author delves right into prayer, scriptures, faith, and visualization techniques you may find yourself at ease simply embracing images of peace, harmony, and tranquility within your own mind. For the last 5 months I had been having trouble with staying asleep throughout the night. I immediately went home and applied the technique of breaking a habit and slept peacefully throughout the night. This book will truly change your life and the way that you perceive events if you allow it and practice the techniques. Read it, gift it, apply it, and watch your life change your life for the better. Let peace and harmony be with you!
