What Alice Forgot

You have to read this before you die if you don’t your life was not worth living. I highly recommend it.

I found the narration very flat, too fast and quite detached from the material. I loved the narrator for big, little lies and the husbands secret howerev- different narrator. Ruined the book for me.

I loved this book. I loved how it all came full circle. Well written. Very enjoyable.

I will read anything by this author. I did love this book. I didn't give 5 stars only because I loved The Husband's Secret and Big Little Lies just a bit more. She is an amazing story teller.

Liane Moriarty never fails to build a fantastic story! I never miss a single book. This one was poignant and thought provoking…. What would i miss if i forgot the last ten years??? The narrator brings this book to life in a very entertaining way. She is a favorite narrator

This books was well written. The author gives several perspectives of Alice’s situation. Also, the narrator made me feel like I was watching a movie. Alice’s character came to life. I loved the sarcasm in her voice.

I love this author. Gets you so enveloped in each characters life. Each storyline is fresh and interesting.

This was such a beautifully written novel. The author really took me on a journey that made me really think about how time changes people and how things can morph beyond what we understand in this moment. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful book. Pleasant narrator voice, intriguing story, relatable and believable characters. Themes: marital separation, divorce and how it affects children, adoption, motives, aging, forgiveness, parenting, friendship, family/ work balance, generations, in-laws, jealousy, remarriage, infertility, sibling love, commitment, regret and of course amnesia

An engaging encounter with 'what if'. The narration is superb. The reader will be prompted to ask themselves many questions along the way and preconceived ideas will fall by the wayside.

I loved this book. It gives you a new perspective on problems that seem like there is only one way out. It also challenges you to step back and look at things from a different side.

A lovely book that reminds us to stops examine ourselves from time to time.

I really enjoyed this book; it had me guessing what would happen next amongst the relationships that had changed so much in the last 10 years for the main character. I was very satisfied with the ending and resolutions of the sub-plots in the story. It was entertaining for my drive and I found myself not able to turn it off when I pulled into my driveway. I liked the narrator as well, loved her accent and it made perfect sense since the story takes place in Australia.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I've become a fast fan of Liane Motiarty and look forward to reading more. The narrator was excellent.

I absolutely loved this book! My first audiobook and it kept me gripping at my seat!

I absolutely loved this book. The characters were honest and quirky. The narration style took a little getting used to as it was more of a 'read' than a dramatic reading. It grew on me. Mostly, I fell in love with the characters. Throughout the story I was artfully engaged. I found myself anticipating and hoping and cheering the characters on. This book will take you on a full emotional journey so hold on! One of the most beautiful and thought provoking books that I have 'read' in awhile.

Loved it 2 years ago the first time I read it, still loved it the second time. Narrator spoke to fast.

The narrator was really good. It took a while for the book to "pick up" but it was a pretty good read overall.

This book drew me in. I havent found myself staying up until 2 for an audiobook ... or crying during an audiobook before. But this one did it. Incredibly good. There were only a a couple of cheesy moments wjere I thought a good editor might have said "no!" But as it is I can recommend it over and over again... the narration was also fantastic.

I really liked the book, It was easy reading. I can't imagine it happening to me and what it would be like to go through . I've read other books by this author and enjoyed them very much. I did like the ending, that she became back to being her own person not completely under someone else's control, which can happen to anyone at any time.

terrible book...very simple plot not worth reading

A nice story and well read, however the whining voice used for the often whining children was too much! It was nearly enough for me give up on this book! I did finish it but with little interest in the end.
