Definitely not worth the price unless you are desperate for Charlie and Lola

Charlie and Lola books are great. My kids love them. And, since we can't get the TV series over here (Casablanca), we read a lot of their books! I downloaded this for iPhone/iPad and am REALLY disappointed in the format. Hence the 1 star rating. (The actual story is cute, Typical of Charlie and Lola titles.) I put it on my daughter's iPod Touch and sent her off thinking that she'd be able to get some of her reading homework done, but not a chance! Even with my reading glasses on, I could not read the book on the Touch. I had to enlarge the screen so much that you can't see the picture and have to scroll all around. There's not even an option to see one page at a time -- you MUST be in a two page view. And, as far as I can tell, there is not even a "read to me" option, so the child can't even have it read to them and look at the pictures simultaneously. If I'm not mistaken, this was a $6.99 download. Total rip off! The other titles available for download were $3.99. I purchased one other. I wonder what the difference is going to be. The Dr. Seuss books are done much much better than this one! I just hope that if I try it on the iPad, my daughter will be able to read it herself.
