"Why Can’t I Be You” Review
This was a great quick read. I had a very hard time putting it down, I just couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen. I felt as though I was Jenny. Not only did I enjoy reading this book but it made me ask myself questions about myself and if I was being who I want to be.
Loved it
I bought this book without doing any research on it and it was exactly what I needed. It is light, funny and I couldn't put it down because I just couldn't wait to find out what would happen. I was so bummed that I finished it so quickly!
The author is from Rochester, NY and I am, too - so it was neat to actually know the places she was referring to in the book. This is the first book of Allie's that I have read so now I need to read her first book!
Underwhelming
I absolutely was enthralled with this book...until the end. To me it was completely unrealistic, short and left much to be desired after such a fabulous build up. If the last 25% of the book was a little different, I would probably give it 5 stars.
