Rather than rant about how the author (Greaney) talks down to the reader, I'll just say he explains the definition of the acronym NATO. The Clancy characters have gone from a members of a terrorist attack force to assassins of questionable morals .I think Clancy's contribution is his name on the cover and Greaney doesn't understand Clancy. Would only be hard to put down if it were Super Glued to your hand.

3& 1/2 stars Jack Jr is all grown up and has joined the 'family business', and that's fine and good, but Sally (Jack Jr's older sister?)has all but disappeared from storyline. I liked that the chapters were short, but something was missing.

Good read but predictable. Nevertheless, will look forward to the next installment and also to the movie that will be coming out later this year starring Chris Pine as Jack Jr. Movie will probably be based on the previous book.
