I really liked both of these characters! Ellison and Maria were exactly what you saw, but also had depth to them, and that wasn’t always easily seen. They definitely felt an attraction for each other right away, but Maria needed time to heal. She made the decision when she was ready, and Ellison was right there with her. Friends to lovers, lovers to mates, these two get the HEA they both so richly deserve <3

Bit I don't know why this is listed as book 11 when it comes before tower magic so if anything should be book 4.5
