Ash has tendency to pontificate, give speeches, and also to introduce the whys and hows and whats of his upcoming action. These monologues are annoying and make it difficult to remain engaged, especially when many are contradictory of earlier remarks. Also annoying, he always wants to "get there together," like he doesn't believe in multiples. Josie is the only 1 of 6 characters who seem to actually be in the D/s role which they are all supposed to be.

The momentum always picks up after the middle of each book up until the final chapter. I enjoyed each of the male characters approach and style. But LOVE the girlfriends story too . Ash's character was very different when you look back to the first book, but he and Josie are perfect together. Ash is a seriously killer genius. Kind of hoped something fun happened between Josie and Bethany to balance Ash & Jace one night together ... but the ending was cute.

ash was one of my favorite characters of all three man. the entire book made him out to be a Neanderthal. I cannot believe that she ended the series of those three men with this bad a novel. much to my dismay I may not want to read her next novel. I was so in love with the first two books. ashes character definitely deserved to have had a better written book.
