Another Outiders like experience (in my opinion) sl much happens in a period of time and really has you think about it and also yourself. I bought this book for a summer homework project from my freshman ap English class and dreaded it. But I read The Outsiders the year prior and fell in love with S.E Hintons' work. saw this and the title, and like I stated previously, it's another outsiders experience as in a story wise but this book made me think of the influences of people in my life and how those around you make you act differently. In the end, this book is a great read. short and packed full. I loved the discussion guide on the perspectives and representations of the characters. that helped with my project. BUY THIS BOOK NOW.

The impact on a young kid or adults life can be indescribable. For everyone I've ever heard from it is simply unforgettable especially if read around the teenage years. My own sons first real book he ever read by choice, he actually snatched it from me. He is now a hugely successful author. Poet. Bachelor's Masters Doctorate and PH.D in the English language. And he accomplished this by himself. In it's seeming simplicity the effect of this book can be immense. Nothing to lose and everything to gain for anyone by reading it. Especially if you read The Outsiders THE BOOK for kids or if you have any...
