About this ebook

What’s a crown prince to do with time on his hands? Or better yet, who? It’s Prince Garrett’s turn to find love in this mouthwatering standalone novel from the New York Times bestselling author of Royal Pain.

Once upon a time I was being groomed to sit on the throne of Wildemar. Now I’m lucky they let me into the palace through the front door. After I was kidnapped and tortured by extremists, my reward upon my release is that nobody trusts me enough to let me be king. And since my twin brother, Kian, has assumed all my responsibilities, I figure why not take over as the black sheep?

But after breaking things off with my betrothed—we never had much chemistry, anyway—and giving the jetsetting playboy lifestyle a try, I’m starting to wonder if I’m cut out for this s***. Then I meet Lola Barnes, a drop-dead gorgeous entrepreneur from the States who’s as refreshing as she is feisty.

It’s supposed to be a one-night-stand—until the press catches wind of my “new American sweetheart.” Trouble is, Lola’s no sweetheart. But the more I see our names together in the headlines, the more I find myself craving another taste. . . .

Advance praise for Royal Treatment

“Garrett and Lola are both strong, well-developed characters, tempting readers to stay up far too late to finish [Tracy] Wolff’s latest novel, emotionally charged and filled with white-hot intimacy.”Library Journal

Royal Treatment is an entertaining royal romance that’s lighthearted, fun, and serious. Tracy Wolff brings banter and heat as opposites attract. Ms. Wolff created well-matched characters and a chance to revisit Kian and Savvy. Royal Treatment can be read as a standalone book.”—Harlequin Junkie

This is the second and last book in the Royal Hotness series. You don't have to read book one first, but I would recommend it. The first book was Kian's story, who is the spare to the throne of Wildemar, but during that book, Garrett, the crown prince was abducted. This story gives us Garrett's story. Garrett spent his entire life preparing to be the King of Wildemar. Now because of his abduction, his father, the King, has removed Garrett from succession and has given Kian that job. To say that Garrett is pissed is an understatement. He survived three months in captivity while being tortured to near death, but he never gave in to their demands. The King still feels that Garrett is too weak. Garrett is currently living his life in a non-directional way.....he has no idea what to do. One day while swimming, Garrett sees this feisty little redhead giving his security trouble and he is instantly smitten. For the first time since the abduction, SOMETHING is bringing Garrett some feelings. Garrett quickly finds out who this little redhead is, Lola Barnes, and he goes to visit her again. They end up going out to dinner and the paparazzi photographs them and now it's all over the news. This new relationship is a positive thing for Garrett and Kian convinces him to run with it and see if Lola will agree to a fake relationship because he thinks it could get Garrett the crown back. Lola's vintage clothing resale business takes off with the news of her dating Garrett, and she actually agrees to fake a relationship for the short time she will be in Europe. For two people who thought they could keep this relationship in name only, it quickly turned into something so much more. For the first time in Garrett's life he wanted something for himself, and not just for the monarchy. Both Lola and Garrett had issues from their pasts but together they were able to fight for their happy ending. This story surprised me by being so emotional at the end. I found myself sobbing at times, but it was a good emotional cry. Overall, I really loved this story.

Having read Royal Pain, which I liked a lot, I knew I would want to read ROYAL TREATMENT, which by the way stands perfectly on its own. And ROYAL TREATMENT gave me so much more than I ever expected; it is not a good book, it is a great book! What a joy to have a hero who is not a manwhore, who is actually a very nice man, even if a tad rigid with rules and regulations, but it goes with the territory of being a prince, but he is far from boring. Lola is your opposite kind of girl: bright red hair, with tattoos and piercings; not exactly inconspicuous, but I loved that Ms. Wolf did not go overboard. Lola has a real job, she is successful; she is not your needy damsel in distress, but not at all. The dialogues are simply outstanding, the writing eloquent and crisp, the characters superbly defined, and both Lola and Garrett are lovely people I would like to have as friends, even though Garrett’s environment is stressful; those paparazzi gave me the willies! There were such lovely little details, such as the caramel macarons, a chat about omelets, and some lovely minor characters as well. Lola’s business was a fun one that I had never seen before in a romance novel, and it was a treat. The romance is not rushed, and as everything in ROYAL TREATMENT, entirely convincing, which is seldom the case in contemporary fictional royal romances. I loved every moment, every scene; everything was done to perfection, and the ending was explosive and very emotional. As an added bonus, I thought the cover model looked exactly how Garrett should look. I certainly felt I got the ROYAL TREATMENT with this irresistible book!

I highly recommend Royal Treatment by Tracy Wolff. It is the second book in the His Royal Hotness line, but can be read as a standalone book. This is the story of Prince Garrett and Lola. Royal Treatment is a complicated romance between a prince and peasant. The peasant likes her life exactly the way it is but the Prince wants what the Prince wants and he always gets his way! The main character Lola Barnes is a beautiful American and a single entrepreneur who runs her own business. She loves her job as a buyer and seller of vintage clothing. Raised by a single mom somehow she has made it as far as she has on her street smarts and grit. She is in Wildemar on a buying trip without any plans to meet his Royal Hotness, Prince Garrett. But once she sees him, SWOON! Prince Garrett of Wildemar is still recovering from a kidnapping and brutal torture. He’s dealing with the loss of his dreams, the recovery from his horrible ordeal and then he meets LOLA! He is immediately mesmerized by her beauty and her attitude. No one had ever spoken to him the way she does and he loves it! He becomes obsessed with Lola and eventually the press discovers the Prince’s romance and then they are both on an adventure to avoid the paparazzi. Lola’s need for independence has guided most of the decisions she makes in her life. She really likes Prince Garret but is scared to take a chance at love. Prince Garrett has a breakthrough with his PTSD and recovery during this time and really comes into his own! He becomes more than a victim. My one complaint in this book is that I wish I knew more about his kidnapping and what had happened to him. Even though this can be read as a stand-alone novel, I’m going to read the first book in this line, Royal Pain, to see if it provides more details about the kidnapping. 4 stars **Review by Kara, Late Night Reviewer for Up All Night w/ Books**

About the author

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Tracy Wolff wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—in second grade, around the same time she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. A one-time English professor with over fifty novels to her name, she now devotes most of her time to writing romance and dreaming up heroes. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her family.
