This book is one of the most boring I have ever encountered. For a writer of this talent, it is truly pathetic. I cannot imagine how bad it must have been in trilogy form, as it still holds more descriptions than plot, and boring Ozzie and Harriet characters to boot. Stay away.....

Kim Stanley Robinson is a winner of the Hugo, Nebula, and Locus awards. He is the author of more than twenty books, including the bestselling Mars trilogy and the critically acclaimed Forty Signs of Rain, Fifty Degrees Below, Sixty Days and Counting, The Years of Rice and Salt, and Galileo’s Dream.
