While I am a huge fan of Nancy Thayer, this book not so much! I enjoyed the big family and the "summer children" aspect with all the crazy dynamics that brought to the story but I just couldn't warm up to these characters (and there are a lot of them). I also thought the story jumped around way too much. I really felt the author tried to cram to many stories into one book rather than concentrating on one or two. With all that said it's not a terrible book. It's a light quick read that you may enjoy while lazing on the beach.

I loved the story but pretty predictable and slow. Not one her best (Beachcombers).
