Although this novel is based off the new Little Mermaid movie this gave me a lot of nostalgia of the original TV series.

Ariel goes on an adventure to solve the kidnapping of her sister Mala. The list of suspects isn't super long but Ariel finds out that maybe she shouldn't leap to conclusions.

I did predict the kidnapper very early in the book but it was still a fun read.
