Don’t buy abridged versions!
There was an unabridged version. I’ve missed out on an extra 11 hours of book. My life is a lie.
I listened to the abridged version ten times. I wondered why the second book seemed so much shorter than the first. And where ppl were getting some of these details.
Pretty good
I like how the narrator reads it’s soothing
It’s ok
Crichton didn’t want to do a sequel and you can tell. Expectations for an author like him were always, specially after Jurassic Park. Out of all of the books by Crichton that I’ve read this is my least favorite. Though there’s a lot of action towards the end the first quarter is just boring, and the monologues by the characters are tedious. Two of the main 4 adult characters are insufferable, so at times I was actually rooting for the dinosaurs
