The Journey by Billy Graham is written in an easy to understand chapter by chapter of life as a Christian. This book is for the non-Christian, the new Christian and those who are mature in Christ. Rev Graham to me has always had a concise and easy way to understand the Bible.

As some have stated in reviews, wished I'd had read this book in my younger days alongside the Bible.

Life is a journey and its not without its trials and tribulations. Rev Graham covers these and more and how to overcome these. Not one human is perfect, and this book shows this but through Christ we are made new.

This will be a go-to book for Bible Study, or to help others in life.

I wish I had had this to read 34 years ago, when I was first saved.... the day I accepted Christ as my savior, and asked Him for the forgiveness of my sinful life, I was filled with a peace and joy that literally lasted for years before Satan was successful in drawing my attention away from my life in Christ and causing me to come off that cloud and land in a kind of "quicksand"... I knew my salvation was eternal and I never stopped recognizing God's love, mercy and forgiveness... when I thought about it! !!! My mind became so focused on the world, happiness in the flesh, and getting my Nursing degree, that I put my relationship with Christ in the "umbrella rack"... Rev. Graham's book gave me all the whys and reasons for those mistakes along with Bible truths, and directions for applying them, that could have kept it all or at least most of it from happening... I rededicated my life back to God's service about a year ago... I have never felt closer to Him... I hope I will have opportunity to share this wonderful "guide" with other Christians that Satan is "stalking" and with the guidance and love of the Holy Spirit keep them from making my mistakes.... Another way "Journey" blessed me and lifted my spirits was by helping me to realize that the stumbling blocks Satan placed in my path have been placed in the road of many other Christians.... just like me! !!! I thank my Heavenly Father for Mr. Graham and for blessing him with such a wonderful ability to teach, explain, and exhort with compassion, concern, and a true God given love for his fellow man.... Hebrews 11v1 says "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

Do not just read these words; think about what they are saying.

Being sure and certain not only of the Lord, but with Christ as your Lord and savour, adoption into His family; which means His Fatherhood. Living by faith is not an option, as life cannot be anything but this when you known Him. Those who mock this; and sadly it is always so, do not know what they are talking about.

Who is it that can know the Lord and then wish they didn't? "The fool says in his heart, `There is no God.'" (Psalm 14v1)
