I really enjoyed listening to John O'hurley's soothing and humorous voice. I also enjoyed learning how to be a happier and better person through John O'hurley's lessons about dogs. He convinced me that there is alot to be learned through observing a dog's behavior. I'm 50 years old and I never realized how much I could learn from a dog !

Super cute book. John O'Hurley has a great voice, and he basically just told stories about his life. Many of the stories were about his cute dogs. Fun book throughout. I highly recommend.

This was a cute book!! I enjoyed how the author compared human and dogs in their actions and motives. I will read more from this author!

This book was not as humerous as I thought it would be. However, it had some really cute anecdotes and overall it had alot of truth to it, but be aware that most of the lessons were common sense. Do not expect anything earth shattering.

This was a funny, heartwarming book and having John O'Hurley narrate it was the best part! If you are a dog lover you will identify with his take on how dogs approach life. He's a charming and witty narrator and I found myself dreading the fact that it would end.

I put this book in my queue after a suggestion and reading all the positive reviews. I was very disappointed. While the book has some funny moments, overall it's dull and not very inspiring. I found it a chore to finish and luckily it was short, or I would have given up and stopped listening.

There is no better a narrator for this book than John O'Hurley himself. The stories he retold were simply delightful. I am glad that I choose to rent this one. I highly recommend it!!! Go Dogs and all of the goodness they bring into our lives!!!!

This book is filled with humor and yet touches your heart. The author looks at life through his dogs and, because he is an actor, he makes a great reader--a truly great story teller. It turns out that a dog can teach valuble lessons to us humans--if only we pay attention. I haven't looked at my dog the same way since! You will, as I have, wind up envying O'Hurley for his insights. Life need not be so complicated.

This was so funny and touching. I loved it and made me wish O'Hurley had written another. Loved his insights about his dogs.

O'Hurley had me howling with laughter, sitting in my parked car, incapable of leaving the CD player as I listened, transfixed to his clever wisdom. If you liked "Marley and Me" (and who the hell didn't), you will love this profound and hilarious book.

I enjoyed this book. The author narrates his own book and does it well. The book is deceptively simple and yet I found myself thinking about his ideas several days later. It's a short, enjoyable "read" with some original insights into the relationship between humans and our canine companions.
