In general a very good read, but there are a few not so good items.First I am a retired (22 years) Petty Officer First class of surface fleet. Number one, an enclosed gun (5" and under) is called a mount. A gun 6" and over is in a turret. Second, When a ship or boat picks up a swimmer in the water you place the craft down current and let the swimmer come to the ship or boat, If you don't the the ship or craft can pass over the swimmer. Third, advancement requires more than just the Captain's word. Navy Wide exam and study courses of rate.
