I am left to ponder what it means to be a religious leader. We know Raju is not perfect. Hd has many vices, which I won't list here. But he also has a tremedous amount of knowledge and qualities. Whatever he touches turns to goal, to use a reference to the Midas touch. Despite his vices, he is able to teach invaluable lessons to the village people and earn their trust. Even in his fake mantle of a swami, he is convincing and plays the part until the end.
