About this ebook

But Carmen's rebellious streak leads her to venture out into the bleak Mars landscape alone, where she is saved by an angel. The plot was fine, but the author has an annoying tendency to have random characters appear in a scene with no previous explanation as to how they got there. And to insert wholly new characters into the story with no explanation, either. Literally right in the middle of a conversation, the author will have someone pipe up who had never been introduced. It was very annoying.

Quick & dirty review: an uneven story (compressed in parts, stretched out in others) that just never felt cohesive. I will not be reading the sequels.

Took a lot of reading to progress to the intersting parts. Not my 1st rodeo of the primise of the type of "the other" alien life form. A good read .
