About the author

Veronica Deisler received her BA in speech and drama from Catholic University. She is a former secondary school teacher turned freelance writer and ghostwriter. She is the author of Classic Biblical Baby Names: Timeless Names for Modern Parents. Veronica has also coauthored several books with colleague Marylou Ambrose, including Eating Disorders: Examining Anorexia, Bulimia, and Binge Eating, Investigate Alcohol, and The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Right Words for Any Occasion.

For more than 30 years, Marylou Ambrose has been an award-winning medical author. She has a BS in journalism from Syracuse University, and her written work has appeared in numerous publications, including Nursing, Nursing Life, Learning, and The Weekly Almanac. Marylou is the author of several books, including Diabetes: Examining Insulin and Blood Sugar and Investigating Diabetes: Real Facts for Real Lives.
