Publisher Description

This extraordinary new understanding of the biblical parable of the loaves and fishes reveals—within the original Greek text—twelve practical methods for living a life of meaning and miracles.

In this uplifting work, Dr. Todd Michael meticulously retranslates the parable of the loaves and fishes, and makes an astonishing discovery: Below the surface—deep within the subtleties of the original Greek—lies a carefully hidden layer of information. Here, the actual technique of the miracle is revealed in the form of twelve precise and realistic steps to extraordinary living.

Scholarly, inspiring, and amazingly consistent with contemporary metaphysical thought, The Twelve Conditions of a Miracle is essential reading if you want to work a transformation in your own life.

Misleading foundations but overall useful and even inspiring

Disclaimer: I am a God fearing, Jesus following Christian. One of those that believes in the inerrancy and accuracy of the Bible.
The book is concisely written, not a lot of filler. Nearly all of it is about application. And I believe the author is identifying foundational truths. However, being a Christian, I feel the credit and source of those truths mentioned is misleading and not given to the one true God. It’s a tough thing though, because he is trying to explain some of the mysteries of creation, and our being, and our interconnectedness.
That being said, I don’t think you would be injured or worse off by practicing the techniques. As a Christian though, you’d need to keep your loyalties and theology straight. There are some statements of “truth” in the book that are incompatible with the Christian faith.
The expounding of the Greek-Roman-English translations and meaning are certainly very interesting-as a student of the Bible it makes me want to do more of that to increase my understanding of the Word beyond the given translation.
I think the book could be used to expand an analogy, or increase an understanding of solid Christian theology, but not useful if you are just beginning the process of trying to build one. It can be an overlay, but not part of the foundation as there are faults, in my humble Christian opinion.
Overall, great reminders of ways to live your life to fullest. For me and house though, credit will always go to the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and the saving work of his son on the cross. And aside from a few statements, the book isn’t completely incompatible with that position.
