This is a great mystery series to read, and I love that I can have it read the story to me. Especially since I am more of an audio learner. I can easily comprehend things and visualize wants being said in my head as long as things are read out loud to me. I recommend this series to anyone else who loves mystery stories, and I also recommend another great mystery series. Nancy Drew is another great mystery series that I really like. The Hardy Boys is my number one favorite mystery series, and Nancy Drew is my second favorite mystery series. I highly recommend that everyone should at least give these two series a try before they say they don't like it. I also highly recommend that everyone tries to watch the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew TV show from I believe the 70's or 80's. My absolute favorite book from The Hardy Boys series is Mystery of The Whale Tattoo and my second favorite is The House On The Cliff. My absolute favorite Nancy Drew book is The Mystery of The Swami's Ring. ❤️❤️

I always find that virtually all the incarnations of the hardy boys are too violent for their target audience. During the 90's the violence in these novels were at their worst. I regret being exposed to that thirty years ago and doubt this writing is any better today. It's one of those books that slip past parent's guard. Violence isn't a replacement for engaging content.

I love the Hardy boys books but I won't be downloading them because of the new gaudy covers. That is the problem with gaggle. Can't leave anything alone. I will buy the hardcover form amazon.
