An astounding and challenging read. Easily as good as anything Thomas Pynchon or Umberto Eco ever wrote. The best, most imaginative book I've read in years. I wish I could give this book more stars.

Devastatingly good mind bender in all of the best ways. The protagonist's journey is a perfect balance of multi-narrative genius. The exploration of what it means to exist, and the very natures of identity and consciousness weave their way to one of the best endings I've ever experienced. This book changed me.

NICK HARKAWAY is the author of five novels, Titanium Noir, The Gone-Away World, Angelmaker, Tigerman, and Gnomon, as well as a nonfiction work about digital culture, The Blind Giant: Being Human in a Digital World. He is also a regular blogger for The Bookseller's FutureBook website. He lives in London with his wife, a human rights lawyer, and their two children.
