Amazing.
These books, and everything else I’ve read of Chris Bradfords’ is outstanding. His strategy of “method writing” gives ALL his work a deep sense of realism. I suggest reading 7-8 first as they are prequels, but be prepared for some slight heartache as the end of Charley’s story is really bittersweet🥲

This was a great read as it was the first one with Charley as the main character and as it was a prequel. 5 out of 5!
Idea: in the next book maybe you could make it so that Kerry, Charley’s abducted friend became an assassin and they have to fight each other on a mission where Connor and Charley are guardians?

This series needs to be read in order. They have a summary but it’s better in order. It literally brought me to tears. I am crying right now. And it’s the good type of tears. Sooooooo good. There are no words to explain this. The only reason it is not 5 stars is bc at one point it was just all the solutions to the problems at once. But it is AMAZING how it all makes sense in the end. YOU HAVE TO READ IT!!
