I really enjoy this game. I am a word game fan and I'm always looking for new ways to play with words. This game is fun because it "chunks" letters together and assigns colors and point values based on difficulty of use. Additional challenge points are randomly available as well. I love using this with my kids as it helps reinforce common suffixes and letter combinations. However my youngest struggles a bit and will sometimes just put his hand down and ask "is this a word?", "is this a word?" As he plays and becomes more confident I believe that will decrease in frequency. I am looking forward to playing this game with other adults- it would be a great, quick party game!

This game is suitable for an age 8+ crowd. It didnt interest my 6 year old. We played with a group of 7 for our 1st game. That felt like too many because the letter cards were sped out and toward the end no one had any sensible cards. We did play all the way through and helped each other along the way. It did push your intellect and word knowledge. Overall my family liked it.

Yes, we love it but we've altered it significantly into several versions of the game that we like very very much! Our favorite game! We own 2 of these which we've combined and altered many times over to suit ourselves. But it's still pretty good as is. I recommend you not be "chained" to the game played as purchased...be creative and personalize it to suit you!

Got this to play with my girlfriend and our two children - 12 and 6. The 6-year-old struggles, a little, but she's getting more confident! We do change a couple rules when we play. (Like being allowed to use the dictionary to see if something is a word or if it's spelled right, instead of having a player lose their cards for a "non-word.")

The pieces and cards are very well-made. Definitely a great game to add into our Family Game Night rotation.

Its a great game for people who loves scrabble to but for me as I am not native English speaker, it's hard to play. Specially it's unforgiving to non native speakers, as sometimes I don't know a word if it's in the dictionary or not and if u just asked about it, u lose ur turn. On the other hand my boyfriend love it so much but he is a native American and into words and scrabble based games

My wife and I love playing this together. I believe it's because she usually wins. Ha! It reminds us of word with friends with a twist. I like the fact that you can steal a word from an opponent and gain extra bonuses by the words you play. That adds more strategy other than just trying to generate words.
