If you are looking for an accurate definition of thr times and Russian culture, this isn't for you. I couldn't get past the sample. The story might have been interesting, but the way it is written, it seems the author has very little knowledge of turn of the century Russia or the Imperial Court, or Russian culture in general. Authenticity is missing.
