About the Author
BRUCE WHITNEY, PH.D., received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota School of Kinesiology and has taught at the elementary, secondary, and college levels. His responsibilities have included being an intramural director, a day camp director, a coach for a variety of sports, and a physical education teacher in two home school co-ops. Dr. Whitney and his wife Lynn have home schooled their children since 1987. They live in New Brighton, Minnesota.
