Synopses & Reviews
When we settle for our own dreams, we settle for too little. God promises "to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" in each of our lives (Eph. 3:20, NIV). John Avant shares true stories of God's passion touching lives around the world and helps readers discern God's dreams for themselves--challenging them to put an end to boring living. As readers see God's passionate adventure lived out all around them every day, they'll eagerly accept His invitation to be a part of it--to live a life beyond their imagination! The book is a popular exposition of Ephesians 3:20-21, using this passage to demonstrate that God desires "to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" in each of our lives. These real-life stories are used to present the reader with the compelling opportunity for the average person to live a life beyond their imagination--a life only God could imagine! This book starts at the beginning of a story about my adventure in sharing Jesus with a group of people who had never once heard His name. The conclusion of the book finishes the story as the church is born among them. This book offers the reader a path to a life without boredom, a passionate life only God could imagine. I want the reader to begin to expect to see God's passionate adventure lived out all around them every day, and to accept God's invitation to be a part of it all!
