This is a life plan and worked the best for me. Common sense small portions several times a day of good food with exercise. I didn't exercise as hard as the book but lost 20lbs!

PAMELA PEEKE, MD, MPH, FACP, is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and a Pew Foundation Scholar in nutrition and metabolism. Dr. Peeke was named one of America's top women physicians by the National Institutes of Health and is the author of Fight Fat after Forty and Fit to Live.
